Our Events

As a local sorority, we love hosting a variety of events throughout the year, from parties and social events to casual hangouts and sisterhood bonding activities. Whether we’re getting dressed up for a night out or spending a cozy night at home, there’s always something fun happening at Chi Delta!

Delta Diner

During parent's weekend in the summer and fall, we host a Delta Diner brunch to introduce our families to one another over some delicious pancakes. It's always so special to meet everyone!

Sisterhood Events

Chi Delta loves to host many sisterhood-bonding events, such as trips to Moosilauke Lodj for dinner, O-Farm pizza nights, outdoor movies, cabin nights, snuggles with Poppy the therapy dog, haus lock-in (sleepover!), and trips to the farmer's market together.

WOXD

Women of XD

Every term, we invite juniors and seniors to give a talk to our chapter on a meaningful topic of their choice, such as personal experiences, lessons learned, and their passions. WOXD celebrates the incredible women that make Chi Delta what it is and brings our sisterhood closer together.

Oktoberfest

In the fall and summer, we host Oktoberfest, a darty filled with live music, pretzels, and of course, all Chi Deltas in dirndls.

Rendezbrews

One of our most favorite Chi Delta events. Rendez's is a date-event semi we have every term at our house.

Montreal

Every sophomore summer, Chi Delta goes to Montreal with a fraternity for the Osheaga music festival and to explore the city.

Every term, we host an XDOC Dinner, where sisters are invited to share a traditional or cultural dish with one another.

Inclusivity Events

Our Vice President of Inclusivity hosts termly inclusivity events to encourage us to always keep learning and listening to one another, creating a safe space where all sisters of Chi Delta can thrive.

Speakers

Chi Delta also creates an inclusive environment by inviting different speakers to Dartmouth, such as mental health professionals and women's sexual health specialists.

Philanthropy

An important part of Chi Delta’s mission is giving back to our local community in the Upper Valley and we love serving the wonderful community that we are so lucky to call home during our time at Dartmouth.

The Prouty

Dartmouth Cancer Center's largest annual fundraiser — a weekend of cycling, walking, rowing, and golf that's raised tens of millions of dollars for cancer research and patient care since 1982. Chi Delta sisters turn out every year to walk or bike in support.

DREAM

A mentoring program founded by Dartmouth students that pairs college mentors with kids living in low-income housing communities across Vermont, running weekly activities and events together throughout the year.

Camp Kesem

A free, student-run summer camp for kids whose parent has or had cancer. Dartmouth's chapter of this national organization fundraises year-round to send campers for free.

Summer Reunion

Every June, Chi Delta alumni come back to Hanover for a weekend at the house — dinners on the porch, a walk down to the river, and a lot of catching up.

Homecoming

Alumni join us for the bonfire and the parade, then come back to the haus to see what's changed and what hasn't.
